Next month, I’ll be hosting a one-night-only close-up magic show you won’t forget.

When magicians first fall in love with magic, many of them fall first for the close-up variety—magic that happens in the hands, right in front of their eyes. With close-up magic, you can interact with people and see their reactions right in front of you. These intimate and real magical moments can be hard to replicate on stage or for larger audiences.

The trouble is, outside of the occasional impromptu trick for friends and family, or the rare walk around magic gig, many of us don’t get to perform this kind of magic very often.

That’s why my friend, Jimmy, and I put together Living Room Magic. On October 30, we’ll put on a one-night-only show, with some of the strongest, most thoughtful close-up magic we do. Jimmy is one of my best friends, and he has been doing magic his entire adult life. He’s one of the people who first inspired me when I was getting into magic over a decade ago. And together, in my living room, we’ll give a few of our friends and family a night they won’t forget.
