30 Million People - my biggest audience yet
I've been performing for over seven years, so I've performed for some pretty big crowds, but over the past week, my juggling has been seen by more people than I'd ever imagined.
On my twenty-first birthday, millions of people around the world were watching me juggle for the UCA Police in the middle of a traffic stop. The story, retold by hundreds of news organizations, spread across the world in just a few hours, so my entire birthday was spent talking on the phone with major news networks, emailing countless online content producers, and scheduling interviews with people all over the country. It wasn't how I expected to spend my twenty-first birthday, but it will certainly be memorable.
So far, just five (of the hundreds of Facebook videos) have a total view count of over thirty-one million. After adding all the other Facebook videos, plus other platforms like Instagram, Snapchat News, YouTube, and traditional television, I can't even try to quantify how many people watched me juggle this week. With so many huge content producers sharing the story (CNN, NPR, FOX News, ABC News, Cosmopolitan, Now This, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, The Today Show, Daily Mail, and so many more), the attention has been exciting. But this traffic stop video seems to also be a great boost for my business; since Tuesday, I have gained hundreds of new followers on every platform, increased the audience size of all of my other videos, and created a worldwide audience and fanbase for Blayk Puckett Entertainment!
Obviously, this video has turned out to be a significant part of my life and my career, so I can imagine that I'll be continuing to see new opportunities in the next couple of weeks. Because the video has taken over my juggling life (and the rest of my life), you can probably expect to see other updates and news here.
And also, thank you for watching and sharing the story! Although it's exciting that the whole world is watching me juggle and my entertainment business is getting more attention than ever, the best part is that the world is sharing a positive story that shows our police keeping the community safe, being friendly, and having a great time. The story could not be more uplifting and fun, and I'm so excited everyone gets to see it.
